These bronze statues were gifts from Italy. The top two represent war and are at the foot of the Arlington Memorial Bridge. The top left one is "Valor". The top right one is "Sacrifice". They were cast in Milan in 1950. The bottom two statues represent peace and are at the foot of the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge. The one on the left is "Music and Harvest" and was cast in Naples in 1950. The right one is "Aspirations and Literature" and was cast in Rome in 1950.
