After a restful Thursday I got a good start on today’s travels. Saw several trade shops today. First stop was to see the Wheelwright of the town. Yes, he makes wheels. And I guess he makes them right. What else can I say. The Cooper, I missed where the name came from, but he makes buckets and barrels. Today the Carpenter was sawing logs lengthwise, making planks for a side of a building. He said they were going to build a kitchen. Also saw a Cabinetmaker and Gunsmith. They use these shops and tools from the 18th century to manufacture and repair most everything for Colonial Williamsburg.
